About

From a young age, I had a passion for books and engaging with others, and I have since used this talent to help me skyrocket to become the top book publicist.  My unwavering ambition and an out-of-the-ordinary perspective on media have landed my authors' national attention.

How I Got Here

I'm A Righteous Dreamer

After working on my first publishing project—a guide to delicious Texas barbecue put together by Dickey’s Barbecue Pit—I saw how many opportunities most authors were missing for press and media exposure for their books.

This lit my fire for working in the publishing industry, where I continued my career alongside some of today’s best-selling authors as Head of PR and Media Relations at SUCCESS Magazine.

With a few best-seller books under my belt, I knew it was time to craft my own community—one that empowered authors with the skillets in marketing and public relations to have the book launch of their dreams.

Growing up, I was always a bit intimidated by the world around me. As such, I found solace in books - they were my safe haven from reality and gave me an opportunity to become anyone or anything I desired.

The Boxcar Children series especially resonated with me; its thrilling writing transported into a different realm full of endless possibilities that ignited within be the ambition to ultimately pursue something book-related one day.

A few of my favorite reads today are anything from The Midnight Library to non-fiction to captivating memoirs.

My favorite current read is Creating a Life that Matters: How to Live and Love with Meaning and Purpose

Why I Do It

The publishing and book launch industry is filled with more questions than answers. The common questions I receive across the board are everything from "Will I make money off of my book" to "How do I get a literary agent" and hundreds of questions surrounding the mysterious world of public relations.

This is why I am on a mission to revolutionize the publishing and book launch space by providing clarity, accessibility, and support all in one place.

A book launch should be exciting and FUN-not frustrating and leading to burnout.

This is why I created The Front Porch Collective to give full access to industry leaders, authors, publishing houses, marketers, TV show producers, journalists, and me-your very own book publicist, all to bring together all elements you need to have a successful book launch.
